IMPORTANT CHANGE REGARDING SALES TAXES: As of July 1, 2010 the province of Ontario has moved to a Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) system which replaces our former 2 tiered PST/GST system. Effective July 1, 2010 all sales will be charged 13% HST.
Almost all products in our store (with the exception of books) have always been subject to the 8% and 5% taxes therefore the 13% HST tax change does not really affect most Ontario customers.
Whenever you make any changes to your shopping cart (examples... change the quantity, remove a product or add a different product etc.), you must press the RECALCULATE button otherwise your order may not be correct at checkout time.
When you enter your credit card information and complete your order at checkout, your credit card is only temporarily authorized for the total amount shown on your order. Your credit card is not actually charged until we have reviewed your order and we are ready to ship. This allows us to be sure that your order is 100% accurate and the payment applied to your credit card is correct.
Shipping charges are only an estimate and the actual shipping cost will be charged to your order. If you are within Canada and qualify for free shipping, your credit card will not be charged for shipping, even if your order shows an estimated shipping charge at checkout.
As well, any promotional discounts will be reviewed before we finalize your order and charge your credit card.
