Methods of Payment
Making a purchase at KnitandQuilt.com is easy. You can pay with your MasterCard, Visa or American Express card, provided it was issued in Canada or the US. Your credit card information is securely transmitted through Moneris, a trusted credit card processing company.
Although we prefer that you send payment using our secure Order Checkout method, we realize that not everyone is comfortable entering credit card information online. If you would like to place an order without entering your credit card information, simply use KnitandQuilt.com as your online catalogue then call us with your order and credit card details. IMPORTANT: Never email your credit card information. You may email your order details and shipping address then call in your credit card information.
If you prefer to mail in your payment, we accept Canadian and U.S. postal money orders only. Sorry we do not accept personal or business cheques. If mailing in your order/payment, it is wise to contact us by phone or email beforehand so that we can confirm the correct Total Cost including shipping charges and taxes. Unconfirmed payments received by mail can result in shipping delays should the money order amount be incorrect.
Shipping
All orders are shipped via Canada Post unless arranged otherwise. All orders are processed within 48 hours. Any orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
Exchanging or Returning Products Purchased Online
Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your order, you may exchange or return your product by contacting us by email, calling us at 1-888-304-4418 or (705) 737-4422 or by visiting our store located in Barrie, Ontario Canada. We accept returns my mail or courier. Please email us or call us at 1-888-304-4418 or (705) 737-4422 to speak to a customer service representative. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued to you . If you contact us by email, it will take about 2 business days for us to reply and issue a RMA number. IMPORTANT: Packages returned without an RMA number will be refused. Your RMA number is valid for 14 days. Simply return the product in the same condition as when you purchased it. We would be pleased to exchange or give you a refund on most items you buy online, up to 30 days after you receive your order. Certain items such as Knitting Needles are not returnable unless they are received in damaged condition. Please inspect your shipment as soon as you receive it and immediately contact us by phone if there are any problems. Items purchased online, but picked up at our store can only be returned to our store with the sales receipt provided at the time of the pickup.
Due to copyright laws, books, magazines and patterns may only be exchanged for the same item. Shipping and handling (S&H) charges are non-refundable; however, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is defective. All products (both defective and non-defective) must be returned in their original purchase condition with the original packing. IMPORTANT: In the event that a returned order has items missing, the order may be refused, or the value of the missing materials may be deducted from the total credit amount. On purchases made with a credit card, the same card used to make the purchase will be credited with the refund. The credit will be made within 3 business days of us receiving and verifying the returned merchandise.
Purchasing by Minors
For the protection of our shoppers, it is our policy to not sell to minors. If you are under the legal age of majority and wish to purchase from our online store, please have a parent or legal guardian make the purchase for you.
Delivery
Delivery is subject to inventory on hand and supplier availability. Out of stock items will be shipped as soon as possible, upon arrival from the supplier. Please take shipping time into consideration
