Dear American Customer:
Knit and Quilt is a Canadian company and all orders are billed in Canadian dollars (indicated by "CAN" in front of the amount).
Ordering online from us is as easy as if we were located in the U.S.. We accept Visa and Mastercard for payment when you checkout and all orders are shipped by mail through Canada Post and the USPS. The main difference is when you receive your credit card statement, the charge will not be exactly the same as the Canadian dollar amount that we confirm with you when we finalize your order. The credit card company adjusts for currency exchange on the date the transaction is posted. At this point in time (February - March 2010), the currency difference is in your favour so your statement will show an amount slightly less than the total we gave you.
As well, we are not required to charge any Canadian sales taxes when we ship to the U.S.
Be assured that ordering through Knit and Quilt will be easy and headache free. It may take a few days longer for your shipment to arrive however everything else will be as simple as 1-2-3!
